Flights direct to St. Paul Island are operated by Alaska’s major regional air carrier: Ravn Alaska. This route is serviced by a DeHavilland Dash 8-100 twin-engine turboprop aircraft seating 25 passengers. Each flight is staffed with a flight attendant, lavatory-equipped, and provides snacks and a beverage service. The flight time to St. Paul Island is approximately three to four hours and includes a refueling stop.
Guests booking our tour can arrange their own flights through Ravn Alaska’s website, ravnalaska.com, or by calling Ravn’s Group Travel Desk at 907-266-8470. If you are outside Alaska, you can book a flight with Alaska Airlines direct to St. Paul from the Lower 48. Travelers can also book with Ravn Alaska or Aleutian Airways to Dutch Harbor and connect from there to St. Paul with one of three weekly flights operated by Grant Aviation.

Note: Friday flights are only available from May 17 until September 27, 2024. We recommend that you arrive in Anchorage one day prior to your scheduled departure and allow a minimum of one or preferably two days on your return to Anchorage to make any connecting flights. Weather conditions are variable and may result in day or overnight delay for your return. It is much easier to have this buffer built into your itinerary rather than to be forced to change plans on the fly when lodging and flight availability can be extremely limited to nonexistent during the tourism season in Alaska. We also highly recommend travel insurance for all of our visitors, which can help recover all additional costs.
