A regular spring migrant/vagrant, this species is found most reliably from May 25th to June 1st, though it may be found as early as mid-May or as late as mid-June in the spring. There are only two known summer records: one from 1995 when remarkably a pair feeding young was found on August 1st, providing the only known breeding record from the Pribilofs, and an early fall sighting from the beginning of August. There are surprisingly few fall records, mostly during late August, though one individual remained into late September.
