Magnolia Warbler

Setophaga magnolia

A very rare breeding bird in far southern Alaska, this species is a very rare vagrant to western Alaska. The two Pribilof records (both from St. Paul Island) are from the late fall along the lines of several other New World Warbler vagrants to the Pribilofs. This timing, in late September or early October, is likely the best period to search for future records.
