Double-crested Cormorant

Phalacrocorax auritus

This is a rare spring, summer, and fall wanderer to the Pribilofs, with more than 20 records since the 1980s. This species is most likely to be found in early summer from June 20th-July 15th, with scattered records in spring from late May and June and during the late summer and fall into October. There is little temporal pattern to the sightings and quite likely this species could be found as a vagrant to the Pribilofs on nearly any day of the year.
