A spring migrant best seen between May 15th and June 5th, though it can often be found across the full spring period from early May to mid-June. While still not expected, summer wanderers and lingering individuals from the spring are found during late June and July on a regular basis, though the first fall migrants are typically not detected until September. Fall migrants become regular by early October with three mid-winter records, though these dates likely represent the lack of observer coverage in the late fall and winter more than the actual occurrence of this species, which should be regular when conditions allow.
