Eurasian Bullfinch

Pyrrhula pyrrhula

A very rare vagrant to the Pribilofs, not recorded until the 2000s, which could be found in either the spring or fall. The only spring record is from mid-May, which is earlier than most passerine vagrants, while the fall records come from the end of September through mid-October, which is likely the best period of time to search for this species. It is a hardy species that could be recorded later into the fall were coverage present.
