Jack Snipe

Lymnocryptes minimus

The records from St. Paul Island account for well over half of all North American records with this species appearing nearly annually in the 2010s during September. The lone spring record and the unknown date record remain outliers, while the vast majority of records have been found in recent years during the first half of September when this species should be looked for in the Pribilofs.
