Little Stint

Calidris minuta

An accidental spring vagrant (with only three records), this species has been regularly found during August in recent years. There are less than 10 records from mid-late summer (July and early August) with the vast majority of records during the rest of August and into early September. The final two weeks of August have the most records for any period of time and that coincides with the peak of many other similar species.
