Terek Sandpiper

Xenus cinereus

A somewhat regular, though hard to predict, vagrant to the Pribilofs, this species is best looked for during the first week of June or last week of August. However, it could occur with favorable weather conditions from mid-May through August. The July records likely pertain to adults who have left the breeding grounds, while the late August records are of juveniles during the typical peak of fall shorebird migration.
