A regular spring migrant best seen during that season from May 20th-31st, individuals are occasionally noted, and very rarely arrive, during early June with perhaps a record per year during the summer months from late June to late July. This species becomes much more common in the fall when larger numbers are noted regularly starting in the first week of August and continuing until mid-late September with a peak in numbers from August 25th-September 5th. Migrants are rare into late September, with only a few October records and none past the middle of the month.
