White-rumped Sandpiper

Calidris fuscicollis

A rare breeder along the eastern Arctic Ocean coast in the state of Alaska that migrates through the central U.S. in spring and down the East Coast in fall. This species is very rare in western Alaska and should not be expected at any place or time. The existing records for the Pribilofs are of single adults during the early southbound period in July and a mid-August record, which is typical of other species of peeps found in the islands.
