Northern Shrike

Lanius borealis

Primarily a rare fall vagrant to the Pribilofs, this species is a late arriver and is best sought during early October in the islands. The two winter records likely involve over-wintering birds that arrived during the fall.

Pribilof records could involve birds from the New World or the Old World, though both of these subspecies are considered to be within the Northern Shrike complex.
