Orange-crowned Warbler

Oreothlypis celata

A rare, but regular migrant/vagrant during the fall to the Pribilofs, this species is annual in the fall but it has yet to be found at any other season in the islands. It can be found as early as late August at the beginning of fall passerine migration, though it is not reliable during the month of August and is best seen from September 1st-10th, with occasional sightings through mid-late September when sightings markedly decline. Sightings into the first few days of October are very rare.
